Alzheimers Alienation is a series looking at the progressive alienating effects of the disease. A woman whose life was once vibrant, active, and social is isolated more and more in her surroundings that used to be familiar. This alienation is portrayed through a mixed media approach of graphite portraits placed back into digitally altered backgrounds.
