Sarah Haig is a curious observer. Originally from northern New York state, she received her BFA and MA in Graphic Design from SUNY Oswego and her MFA in Visual Studies from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She is currently a professor of Graphic Design and the chair of the Visual and Theatre Arts Department at the University of Tennessee at Martin. She works with a wide range of mediums that range from traditional studio practices to animation and video, and is regularly inspired by her students to push herself further. She likes to escape responsibility by riding her bike, cuddling with her cats, and traveling.
